Global Tower has been serving GSM operators, fixed-based operators, TV&Radio broadcasters, and internet service providers by using both the current towers from its portfolio and the new ones that is to be installed.
With its expert team, Global Tower provides services such as installing fields by getting all the necessary permissions; installing, maintaining and removing the tower and systems on it when it’s not useable anymore. These services are provided not only in Turkey but also in the territory geography.
Our portfolio includes all kinds of towers including monopole, cage, and totem type. We try to meet our customers’ demands by providing new towers that we designed regarding the expectations and costs. Moreover, we can add innovative towers like composite tower and telescopic tower to our portfolio regarding our research and development department.
As time goes on, our vision is extending and we can provide services to different sectors. Now, we can serve various sectors with tower portfolio and use our towers with common use. There is a height level for some towers that are increasing in number day by day. These towers are meteorological towers, security towers, emergency communication, city surveillance cameras, and smart city systems. We could install new towers or use the current ones in our portfolio regarding the location, which provides money saving.
Lattices are three or four-legged multi point and multi element galvanised heavy metal towers which can support a large number of antennas. The height of lattice towers varies between 14 and 70 metres, with an average height of 56 metres. The designed antenna capacity of lattice towers varies between 5 m2 and 12 m2.
Monopoles are developed as an alternative to lattice towers and their characteristics are their galvanised steel structures and slim designs. The designed antenna capacity of monopole towers varies between 2.5 m2 and 3.5 m2.
- Steel monopoles are designed for one or two tenants and they are generally located in urban and suburban areas.
- Concrete monopoles are designed for one or two tenants and they are generally located in urban areas. The distinctive feature of this type of tower is using a standard prefabricated monopole.
Totems are camouflage type decorative towers formed by tubular pipes. There are different decoration types for totem towers, such as advertisement, pine or palm trees. The height of totem towers varies between 10 and 42 metres, with an average height of 20 metres. The designed antenna capacity of totem towers varies between 3 m2 and 25 m2.
Mobile towers are galvanised steel poles with 2 x 2 metre shelters on the trailers. Mobile towers are typically used for temporary needs. The height of mobile towers is ten metres and the designed antenna capacity of mobile towers is 2 m2.
Wind towers are developed as free standing slim towers, which carry measuring instruments and meteorological instruments, such as thermometers and wind velocity measurers.
Guyed masts are reduced weight metal structures which are guyed by metal ropes for stability. As of 30 June 2016, the heights of our guyed mast towers were between 30 and 70 metres, with an average height of 53 metres. The designed antenna capacity of guyed mast towers varies between 3.5 m2 and 5m2.
SWEs are shelters with metal sub-towers. SWEs are designed for one or two tenants and they are generally located in urban and suburban areas. The height of our SWEs varies between 30 and 40 metres, with an average height of 31 metres. The designed antenna capacity of SWEs is 3.5 m2.
